We met for the first time in January 2008 thru a mutual friend. Neither of us was very interested in getting into a relationship at that time. He was short and I didn’t really go for short men, and he was just enjoying the single life. We met again in April of the same year and sparks went flying. After a few mudding trips and dinner dates and we have been inseparable since.  

In July Jason planned a special trip to Dallas for my birthday. We had a very busy weekend planed with friends, a six flags trip, and a Rangers game. It was Saturday night and we had just gotten to the game and looking for our seats. Everyone we were with were walking off and leaving us and Jason was just standing there holding my hand. I kept telling him to come on they were leaving us and pretty much trying to pull him. Next thing I know Jason is on one knee and asking me to marry him. It was by far the best birthday present a girl could ask for!
